Forest along the causeway at Morris Island Conservation AreaThe Morris Island Conservation area is located on the Ottawa River, upstream from the city of Ottawa. It has a set of easy trails that wander through the forest, giving some great views of the river and the many small islands in the area.
This past weekend, the main display of leaves had fallen, but the forest's inner trees had lots of colour left. The sun shining through the leaves made the forest glow with colour.
